Career Resources for Latinx Students

At Bridgewater State University there are many support services for Latinx students who are preparing to enter the workforce. The Career Services & Internship Program Office has pulled together select resources and websites that can be helpful for the career development and job search process.  In addition, be sure to utilize the resources of the Lewis & Gaines Center for Inclusion & Equity here at BSU.  If you have questions or concerns about the job search process, we encourage you to schedule an appointment with one of our career advisors who will be happy to meet with you.

Association of Hispanic Advertising Agencies | Culture Marketing Council (AHAA) advocates for responsible and intentional investment in Hispanic marketing.

Association of Latino Professionals For America offers networking and professional leadership development opportunities.  Additionally, members have access to over 50,000 paid summer internships and experienced job opportunities.

Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute provides leadership, public service, and policy experiences to outstanding Latino students and young professionals.  The Institute also convenes Members of Congress and other elected officials, corporate executives, nonprofit advocates, and thought leaders to discuss issues facing the Latino community and the nation.

Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement is a national non-profit dedicated to the employment, development, and advancement of current and aspiring Latino professionals.

Hispanic/Latino Professionals Association provides job and career information for individuals and job seekers.

iHispano: Jobs and Careers for Latino Professionals is a job board.

National Association of Hispanic Journalists is an educational and charitable association dedicated to the recognition and professional advancement of Hispanic students, professionals, and educators in the field of journalism.

National Association of Puerto Rican and Hispanic Social Workers is a job board and provides information on the profession to members of the Puerto Rican Hispanic community.

Saludos: Hispanic Employment Website is a job board of employers and organizations which are searching for qualified bilingual, bicultural, and minority applicants.

Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanic & Native Americans in Science is a resource to explore hundreds of job opportunities, career insights, and resources, as well as to connect with over 4,000 employers.

United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce actively promotes the economic growth, development, and interests of more than 5 million Hispanic-owned businesses.
