Handshake, a One-Stop Career Management System
All BSU graduate students will receive a Handshake account within their first semester at BSU. Students can access job and internship opportunities, RSVP for career events, request a career advisement appointment, and connect with employers through the system. Students will continue to receive access to Handshake beyond graduation, making this a powerful system to jump start their careers.
One-on-One Career Advisement
Schedule a one-on-one career advisement session with a professional career advisor to design your career plan. You can request an in-person or virtual session through Handshake.
Career Fairs, Industry Panels, Networking Events and Forums
BSU students can access a variety of events, career fairs, panels, and career forums throughout the year that are organized by the Career Services & Internship Program Office such as the Fall & Spring Job and Internship Fairs, Industry Insiders series, Beyond BSU Speakers series, and other skill development workshops.
