The Career Services & Internships Office provides comprehensive career development resources and programs for all BSU students and alumni. Graduate students at BSU can take advantage of the various opportunities throughout their time at BSU to prepare themselves for the workforce.

Handshake, a One-Stop Career Management System

All BSU graduate students will receive a Handshake account within their first semester at BSU. Students can access job and internship opportunities, RSVP for career events, request a career advisement appointment, and connect with employers through the system. Students will continue to receive access to Handshake beyond graduation, making this a powerful system to jump start their careers.

One-on-One Career Advisement

Schedule a one-on-one career advisement session with a professional career advisor to design your career plan. You can request an in-person or virtual session through Handshake.

Career Fairs, Industry Panels, Networking Events and Forums

BSU students can access a variety of events, career fairs, panels, and career forums throughout the year that are organized by the Career Services & Internships Office such as the Fall & Spring Job and Internship Fairs, Industry Insiders series, Resume-Mania events, and other skill development workshops.
