We are looking to expand our team of Lighting Technicians and are seeking dependable, hardworking professionals, who are ready to help create unforgettable events.
Role Description(s) This part-time, on-site Lighting Technician role is based in Greater Boston and supports event production for weddings, corporate functions, and private events. The role is responsible for transporting, setting up, operating, resolving technical issues on-site, and breaking down/ returning equipment. Technicians will likely need to interact with clients and guests in a professional, friendly manner.
Qualifications
- Must live on South Shore (MA) or within 25 miles of 02134.
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends, as majority of events take place during these times.
- Reliable transportation is required with the ability to travel from office in Hanson to venues throughout Greater Boston area and New England (if applicable).
- Ability to lift and move equipment and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Experience setting up and operating lighting elements or related equipment is beneficial but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly on-site.
Bonus Qualifications
- Some prior experience in event production, live entertainment, or hospitality is a plus.
- Have a CDL or have experience driving oversized vehicles, preferred but not required.
