DATES & COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Dates: June 19 – August 2, 2026
  • Salary: $2,200 plus travel costs reimbursed
  • Benefits include:

    • A 6-week season (meaning time for yourself within the summer, too!)

EXPERIENCE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Skills You’ll Need:

  • Prior experience teaching dance or dance captain experience
  • Prior experience developing choreography
  • Notable prior personal performance experience in a variety of styles
  • Organization and communication skills

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Teaching dance classes to campers – between 3-5 classes a day
  • Collaborate with our experienced Dance Director (a former Rockette!) and a team of other dance instructors
  • Help campers prepare for their end-of-session showcases
  • When not teaching, you’ll be assigned to an age group of girls to look after and care for
  • Opportunities to work on your own craft (sit in on classes during time-off, etc.)
