What is SEIS?
SEIS, or Special Education in Institutional Settings, is a statewide program that provides specialized educational services to students in residential facilities, hospitals, and correctional centers — settings where traditional schooling isn’t possible.
As part of the Collaborative for Educational Services (CES) team, SEIS educators work in small, supportive environments, delivering high-quality instruction tailored to each student’s unique needs. We believe that every student, regardless of their circumstances, deserves access to education, encouragement, and the tools to succeed.
Joining SEIS means joining a team of dedicated professionals who value compassion, flexibility, and collaboration. Each day is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a young person’s life — and to be part of a mission-driven community that supports both students and educators.
