Upcoming Event: Discover Career Pathways in the Helping Professions

Are you exploring careers in mental health counseling, social work, psychology, school adjustment counseling or related helping professions? The Bridgewater State University Career Services Office is hosting a Career Pathways in the Helping Professions Panel to help you navigate your options. 

Why Attend: 
This panel gives students a chance to hear directly from BSU faculty with experience across mental health, student affairs, and social services sectors. Panelists will discuss day-to-day work, career paths, academic preparation, and the steps needed for licensure or advanced study. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions and gain practical guidance for planning your academic and career goals in the field.

  • Location: Rondileau Student Union, Student Union Ballroom (Hybrid via Zoom available) 
  • Who Should Attend: Any undergraduate student considering careers in the helping professions: school adjustment counseling, student affairs, social work, clinical psychology, mental health counseling, pursuing a masters in the field, pursuing a doctorate or PhD in the field, among others.

Come prepared with questions about career paths, skills needed, and graduate school requirements. Take notes, network with faculty, and use the insights you gain to guide your academic and career planning.
